********* Livingstones Memorials were created by ceramic artists Maggie and Mike Fuller. "The idea for Livingstones Memorials arose from contemplation about what to do with our own and/or a loved one's ashes after they had passed. We wanted something besides housing them in an urn. We wanted something more tangible, something we could touch and gain comfort from. We loved the idea of a collection of memorial stones that would commemorate ourselves and/or a loved one. We liked the idea of being able to once again hold close our loved one in the palm of our hand and be warmed with their touch. By taking some of the cremains of a loved one and blending them with the clay, Livingstones Memorials were created."
Maggie Fuller was born in Peekskill, New York. Maggie was raised in New England. She now resides in Galveston, Texas with her husband Mike. Maggie was introduced to ceramics at a young age and again in college at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also attended Cornell College in Iowa where she received her Elementary and Art Teaching degree. Mike was introduced to ceramics when teaching Occupational Therapy and has produced ceramic sculptural pieces for over 40 years.
